Let me set your mind at ease. For those of you who have not read my e-book yet, The Secrets Of Manifesting Your Reality, there may still be confusion about what magick truly is.Magick is simply this: any practical application of the principles of creation. When you understand the principles that allow you to create your own reality, then you can look at any system of magick in the world and understand how it works. There's nothing mysterious or hokey about magick. It is simply a way of practicing the understanding that you create your own reality.When people think of magick, they generally think of spells, rituals, witches... people sitting around in circles surrounded by candles chanting in Latin... But in truth, everyone practices magick everyday - they just may not do so consciously! Magick is also about taking the process of creation, which most people are still doing unconsciously, and making it conscious. That is the key to creating the life that you want.The things that most people think of are hokey, ie the candles, props, and wording sometimes used in spells or rituals, are really only symbols that are meaningful to the mind of the person performing the magick. For instance, wearing certain robes in a dark room that is lit only with candles is a way to tell the subconscious mind, "This is not my everyday norm. I am doing something magickal and special." Other items in spells are used as symbols for the subconscious mind.You see, the subconscious mind thinks in pictures and symbols, not in words. So when you add symbolic elements to your magick, you further engage your subconscious mind in a manner that it understands. This empowers your spell because the subconscious is a much more proficient creator than the conscious mind. If your subconscious believes something will happen, it will happen!Hopefully this will help those of you who are approaching information about magick with caution to feel a little more at ease and familiar with the process. There comes a point in the creative process where you no longer need structures of magick in order to manifest your desires.
